Suwon Korea is the regional capital and largest city of Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Suwon is a busy and energetic city with its own individual characteristics. The new Suwon map is enclosed by the relics of a powerful fortress, which was built in the late 18th century by King Kong-jo. All this was an effort to make Suwon Korea the capital of Korea. These walls now have become into a world heritage site reflecting back at South Korea's past. This place now with many sections still intact, which are a major tourist attraction. Additionally the Suwon map also is home to Hwaseong Fortress, Woncheon Amusement Park, Everland Amusement Park, The Korean Traditional Folk Village, and various temples and tombs.
Suwon Korea today has adjusted in to the future and now is known as South Korea's leading city in digital technology. The city with a population of about 850,000 people is also famous as a Seoul “satellite” city as is not a part of Seoul metro city, but is still on Seoul’s subway line, approximately a 50-minute sub-way ride to Seoul’s city centre. This has resulted into making transportation into the heart of the capital city quick and efficient. Economically the Suwon Korea also has a base for light industrial and high-tech, concentrating on chemicals, electronics, and agriculture. Though, agriculture is an important industry in Suwon, especially rice, barley, and lettuce. The popularity of Suwon Samsung Bluewings has made the city being called as the capital of Korean football. |
